I was told at a young age that I would make a good teacher. I never thought anything more of it as I pursued my marketing career and then ran my own business. That is until I spent the next 23 years teaching at the University of Derby. It felt natural. I enjoyed it, I was successful. I realised my passion to see how I was part of a journey that directly impacted on individuals and their personal development. It opened opportunities for me to broaden my outlook and to deliver marketing training workshops to commercial organisations. The rest is history. In 2000 I set up a new business Be Focused Ltd. I am still successfully running this company today.

•    Established and managed own marketing training business – Be Focused. Now in its 20th year. 
•    Worked with numerous Blue Chip companies (See below) successfully planning and delivering training workshops 
•    Set up TMLA – Now in its 5th year
•    Awarded Fellowship of CIM (Chartered Institute of Marketing)
•    Installed as a Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Marketors.
